Was checking in the priceguide thingy but either I'm blind or it doesn't mention Gheeds? What does highroll Gheeds go for these day? Or 40% ones even, since that what pindle just dropped me
I didn't see one being traded in a very long time. They are pretty common though. An ist maybe?
I would expect a 40% Gheed's to go for more than Ist. A good-but-not-perfect roll, I think Ist sounds along the right lines.

They are valuable, sort of. Like min-damage jewels, they are really useful only on few specific builds and only if you have quite a few of them. Like, I don't know, a Gris' Avenger, or something. Then they are somewhat valuable. They will rarely make it on any MFer, though, which limits their value.
I mean, definitely hold on to it, feel free to auction it off, just don't expect 17 Jah's for it.
So, according the PC guide's high rune value chart, Cham is worth approximately the same as Lo and Sur, however I don't think I've seen that in practice. I think there's 2 reasons for that:
1. From what I've gathered from the 1.13 LK drop pattern thread, Lo and Sur can be popped in LK, but Cham cannot. Sur in particular has a ton of seeds for p7-8. There are a lot of Lo's and Sur's floating around the SPTF right now and they are essentially interchangeable.
2. No one in their right mind is going to cube 2 Jahs to get a Cham. So that eliminates another way to obtain a Cham.
There were multiple trades of Cham=Sur in the past. Not in the last 6 weeks, but it happened. And not just once, I remember at least three. That's what my assessment of rune value came from.
You should take into account that LK running is only a partial source of runes in this forum, A85 areas, Cows, and Council being the other 3 main sources. There a Cham can drop, and with a somewhat high probability. Twice less likely as Sur/Lo, but only 50% less likely than Ber/Jah, more or less.
If you run the other 3 areas for 'Enigma', 'Infinity', etc. (which most people do AT FIRST), a Cham can be an annoying disappointment even.
Anyway, the point is, it happened, multiple times. Until I see it increase value in an actual trade, rather than our musings, I'm sticking to my valuation.
