I have a question about the Facebook page. Does a separate FB account need to be created to set something like this up for a website? A friend and I are trying to learn the ropes for this, but the posts being made are all going to his personal FB page instead of the one he created for us.
Thanks in advance!

Yes you create a page. FB is pretty badly organised when it comes to usability and it took a while for me to figure out how to make pages.
I just checked out the FB help centre and I found this page on creating pages
http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=12...ges/create.php
You create it with your personal account, you don't set up a mysite name FB account. I used my Elly Davis FB account to set up a page for this site, it doesn't put my personal details on that page, no one knows it's me that updates it so it looks like it's all coming from the site's account.

Haha, I had to create a FB page recently for my band and it was a disaster! I had no notion of the difference between a 'Page' and a 'Profile', so I ended up making a profile and renamed the url to my band name!! That also made that name unusable forever by anyone or anything else, but fun times!
But yeah, you have to have or make a personal profile, then use that profile to make a page. Once you have a page, you can have as many different admins or owners as you want, since it's an independent entity. It's all confusing as heck. Now it seems like they are trying to add more 'profile'-like functionality to pages, which just threw me back to square one!
If I didn't need them for professional purposes, I'd just bid FB and MS a good day.
"Good day to YOU, sir! I SAID GOOD DAY!!"
I'm with you Technomancer. I hate the things but it seems you have to be 'on fb' nowadays.
