Anywhere i can play with others on tcp/ip or hamachi? der=0>

Hey! Im a single player dude and im just wondering, if anyone has any servers or anything out there that are running in 2011! Coz most posts on forums and things about version 1.13 games are out of date around december 2010 and im wondering if anyone out there still plays.

Id make a new character or continue on my own ones doesnt bother me, my javazon needs some help in Hell tho Thanks

Uh, the last post in the 1.13 thread was for 29/12/10, and it's only January 10th... Maybe the SP players that do exist had some downtime for New Years?

Your post history seems to show you haven't read all the forum's rules. Why not read all of the SPF-specific forum rules, and maybe the MP rules as well. This will give you an idea of how we roll at the SPF. Then maybe post an intro thread in the SPF so people can get to know you? It might help build bridges for MP play.

Failing that, you could make a post such as this in the 1.13 thread: "Happy New Year. I am looking to MP with either my Javazon in Hell or with new characters. I use Hamachi (PM me for network details) and I can/cannot* host via TCP/IP."

*Delete as applicable.

Yea that helps, sorry man im just new to this whole thing. Recently got back into diablo to help make me keen for diablo 3! Ive just looked around so much and people are always playing lower version then the latest not sure y that is. And a lot of posts have been far outdated, i just expected the spf mp place to have tonnes of people talking about servers and things but i was wrong i guess.

The 1.13 MP thread has bouts of activity, sometimes sporadically. Normally if there is a big tournament on there will be little MP action.

People play different versions for many reasons: Some do not like the changes in later patches (e.g. removal of IM in 1.13); others like to hoard weapons with different mods, or bugged weapons (e.g. 1.09 Ravenclaw bow).

Don't apologise for being new. Everyone was new once. I didn't mean to sound like an asterix-asterix-asterix-asterix, I just wanted to get across that the SPF is one of the more... 'formal' parts of this forum, hence my suggestion to read the rules. The rules will also help you avoid any 'polite nudges' from Thyiad, who I see you've already met.

Yea ur all good buddy, you didnt come off as a complete asterixin-asterix so its all good haha. Those rules and stuff were really helpful i loved the one on hardcore gives a tonne of tips that will help my SP game a lot.

Ok no worries buddy, i was just wondering why the 1.13 thread was called "final" that came across to me as if the final games are occurring then thats the end of it. Thanks for your help once again and ill keep an eye on that thread.
