Person with a lot of credibility posts on a reputable website concerning a potential leak = probably fake, guessed the dates, unconfirmed, believe it when I see it

Noname blogs post a rumour about the manager of Blizzard China being fired over the rumoured leak = almost confirmed


I love internet logic.

Umm... i supported the initial leak as possibly factual (i never accepted as blind faith, as without proof i won't accept anything absolutely)
Further proof was supported but not absolute, so i said almost.

It's called being objective maybe you should try it some time, or learn how to read and create less strawmans.

If this is indeed true, this is a horrible gaffe for Blizzard in my opinion. For gamers it shouldn't be a big deal except that if the timelines are remotely accurate looking into Blizzard's past reputation we can probably expect Diablo 3 around 2-4 qt 2012 not 2011.
This is more about Blizzard's competition getting an inside look at what is going on.

If true, I'm excited that Blizzard plans to release it Q4 2011. At least we have that much.

Whether or not that will happen, who knows. I don't think Cataclysm was pushed back, so we might get it on time.

I think I know what SC2:Phoenix is its Blizzards version of DotA, as it is known that they are working on a version of it. So everything is accounted for then.

Not sure if I have missed this elsewhere, but has anyone confirmed/debunked the rumour that Blizzard have booked a big conference centre in Phoenix, Arizona for a huge Starcraft 2 matchplay event this November?

This could be the SC2: Phoenix referred to in the document, further stoking the fires of everyone's hope that D3 will release this year!

If the game was comming out this year...we would know about it. q1 2012 at best, with almost a 90% probability of a delay or two to spill it into q2-q3 2012. We won't even get a beta this year IMO...blizzcon will probably reveal the beta start date and a few more bits of info.

Id bet my life savings that we wont see it any earlier then march next year.
