Confused about Pfaith price

Just a little info: Just started fresh from scratch last week. Haven't played since about 2003-2004ish so it's been awhile, still remember most things, though.

Anyways, to cut to the chase, I've been watching the prices in HRs of Faith GMBs. When I started last week, I saw it for the first time and I was told a perfect Faith GMB was about 17+ hrs, okay. Then I talk to another person and they say 20 hrs, okay. Then for the past week, I've been seeing Pfaith's being sold for 20-24 hrs. Now all this time, I've been working my way up in HRs for the past week and finally got enough. Then yesterday came and someone told me Pfaith's are 40 HRs and started calling me a noob. I was thinking this guy was just trying to rip so I was like whatever. But today, I've been trying to buy a Pfaith all day and everyone is telling me 35+ hrs now, wtf is going on?

If someone could clear things up a bit, that would be great.

Also, ISO of Pfaith, lol.

a pfaith can be as much as 35hrs, but it shouldnt be no more than 30 according to the price guide i look at

I think you are just having bad luck, I have seen a few 15/2/3 gmb's go for under 15 the past few days(and I'm not on that often)

Now that definitely makes me feel terrible, haha.

Also, I offered 26 HRs for one and someone mentioned that I was offering for a duped one so I'm assuming all of these cheap pFaiths are duped ones. Do they still have duping around and should I be concerned?

On non ladder you will run into tons of dupped items, HR's, SOJ's etc. They still go poof!!! So becareful about trading for these types of items.

Also, be careful about using the "price guide". The price guide was accurate up until the 2nd last ladder resest. At that time, ladder only items very rare and thus the high prices. With the last two resets, the values have dropped significantly due to the increased supply of ladder only items.

I find the prices are still fairly accurate on most non ladder items, but ladder only items have dropped on value by about 50%.

The price really is what someone is willing to pay for the item. Someone might want 40 HR and someone might be happy with 15 HR. Just be patient and as long as you are reasonable, then you will get one at a fair price.
