    My First Werewolf

Ok, so currently I have decided to make a Werewolf. I've been working on it for about 4 days and I'm currently level 74. I'm a typical FuryDruid and I want to know if my gear is decent. I specifically tried to hit high breakpoints so keep this in mind.

Helm: Stealskull with a 15@/15IAS jewel

    Ammy: Cat's Eye

Wep: Ribcracker (uped) with a shael

Armor: Jeweler's Archon Plate of Stability with 3 15@/15IAS jewels and 1 godly rare jewel

    Gloves: Bloodfist

Ring1: Crafted Blood Ring with 11@

    Belt: String Of Ears

    Ring2: RavenFrost

    Boots: Shadowdancer

    Charms: 9x Spiritual of Balance, Anni 20@, Torch20@, 4x 6@/5FHR, 2x 1-33lghtdmg/5FHR, 1x175pdmg/19life, 2x 6@/3%FRW, and 1x Fine/20 life

Now, after Werewolf I have 244 IAS (enough to hit the 241 Breakpoint which gives a 3/2/2/2/2 Frames per hit of Fury) And can't seem to find a way to hit the 326% IAS. I also, have 282% FHR which leads up to a 2 frame hit recovery. I'm currently 4 points away from maxing Feral Rage, and every other skill (other than Rabies) is maxed. I also, will have 75% res all in Hell.

I want any "advice" that you can give, or something of the sort. I'm just trying to make a highly difficult to kill Werewolf. Only problems I have are manaburners that stun. Other than that I can fight just about anything with no problems.

I could be wrong but according to the attack speed calculator you don't need any ias above the 70 on your rib cracker to reach the highest break points for Fury and Feral Rage assuming you have at least 5 skill points in Werewolf.

I was looking at TheDragoon's calculator and it said with Ribcracker's base speed I'd need 471% IAS to get 1/1/1/1/1 as the lowest frame rate possible... i'm almost positive the base speed is 0... I could be wrong though

    Try this calculator: http://diablo3.ingame.de/tips/calcs/...p?lang=english

It allows for Werewolf's skill level, IAS on the weapon(werewolves get a special bonus for this), and each of the werewolf's attacks.

You mean this calculator: http://home.comcast.net/~thedragoon/...madvanced.html ?

It clearly shows 5 frame fury as the best possible, you must have used it wrong.

not true. it is true that wias (weapon ias) effects attack speed the most, but the Werewolf skill itself increases the speed as well. off weapon ias does effect attack speed in very few cases as well. iirc this happens when you have a low slvl of werewolf.

so it's a minor nitpick, but non wias does something...sometimes.

check with the calculator, it's like for barbarians.
then why do people would get grief pb over grief ba with 20% ias from other items for example, or they use 90%+ tombreaver instead of putting 2 lo and going with 30% ias from other items. etc

well my point was that he was full socketed with 15% ias jewels, which is useless and any fury druids have at least 5 points in werewolf

    Re: My First Werewolf

Crawling wasn't necessarily disagreeing with the final verdict, Epilol, just the reasoning.

OIAS DOES have an effect on Fury frames but ONLY when:

The player has an extremely low WW level
The weapon has extremely low WIAS.

    As for the OP:

I recommend you read the various WW guides in the stickies in order to get a grasp on the basics of WWs. With your weapon choice, you won't need any OIAS to hit the Fury BP.
