I forgive you Merv. I will cut your throat whilst you sleep, but I do that with love and forgiveness in my heart. True story.

Guess you wrote this after I posted the RIP for Thatcher...

Meanwhile, official U.S. Army training material!

P.S. Given the above, one wonders what the Army wouldn't consider extreme? Fred Phelps the Democrat?

Actually, no. I wrote before reading the other thread!

They left out mormons. I mean, they are plenty extreme, aren't they?

They didn't; they just misspelled the name (2nd from the bottom).

At least they included the Catholics and the KKK. Of course, I'm not exactly sure how they decided that the KKK was a religious entity; maybe they'll include Shriners and the Elks Club in the next revision.

Plus, why didn't GAMERS make the cut?

Oh yeah, there they are. I need new reading glasses.

I notice the Janissaries of Emilion and Cthulhu weren't on the list, either.
Why include cults that focus on imaginary beings but ignore imaginary cults of a similar nature?

Never fear, Scientology is safe and reasonable. Otherwise it would be on the list.

Strangely enough, the Jehovah's Witnesses crowd didn't make it either, unless they're simply lumped in with Evangelicals. Which would be stupid, but hey, who's worried about accuracy here, given that they call the KKK a religion?

    *puzzles over safe and reasonable*

The US military considers Scientology safe?

    *mind half-way blown*
