Ele fire pvm build

I do a similar build with the aldur's set +medusa's gaze. aldurs has many sockets for facets and bonuses plenty. medusa has chance to cast lower resist curse, and it matches the color of aldur's perfectly. I have no problem with fire immunes. The most resistant seem to be doom knights, and even those are dispatched with moulten boulders rather easily. I don't even have an infinity merc. With an infinity, you will be overpowered.

will upping my str to 156, from 118 be worth it, when i could just get a mosers with 2 facets, or a lidless with 1? my resists would change a bit, but that could be made up for with charms, the main questing though, is how facets compare to + skills.

edit: also, can lower resist remove immunities, and does it stack with infinity when doing so? i.e. if infi is 10 res short of removing an immunity, will lower resist push it over the edge, or does only the highest one apply? could always get a wand with LR charges in case i need to farm something specific, which is FI.

Yes, Lower Res can break immunities. I'm not sure if they stack for determining that though.
