Won't anyone get me a book on self reliance?
You all suck![]()
So can I get some book recommendations from people? Honestly the only book in the past 10+ years that I have read simply for enjoyment was "Scar Tissue" by Anthony Kiedis.
Honestly, it probably has to be an autobiography. Every single novel that I have ever tried to read, no matter how interesting it was, gets boring to me. Some subjects that I am interested in reading about (at least autobiographies of), drug addiction, prison life, criminals, war (mostly WWII), maybe survival, etc. I know they're strange subjects, but I am always intrigued of first hand accounts of these things. Especially since I'll be dealing with this population shortly once my career begins.
Can anyone think of anything?
Rose Kennedy's autobiography, Times to Remember.

Tiassa (Vlad Taltos #13)
by Steven Brust
8 of 10 "Cha," is the sound a Tiassa makes.
I was looking for different things but it does all hang together well on reflection.
Latest in 2 series set in a world like no other.
Thats the Library
P.S. .I love way he mixes the styles up with the Vlad and Dumas. As a per requirement for the details to shine in these books so I recommend both
If you have not read any Vlad books then jumping straight into this one will probably confuse you and leave you wondering why much of the back story was just left hanging there. It wasn't, it relates back to previous books. As usual this book involves convoluted plots (or the illusion of them) and cunning plans. Think Ocean's Eleven with pointy things and magic.
I didn't see the end coming, the plot and characters make sense, and the both of the narrative styles used get me every time.
Lots of foreshadowing and clearing up of past foreshadowing here.
