Re: Hey Bookworm, What Are You READING?

So I've been reading this old thing by the great one.

As He's known in Sci-Fi Circles.

Was this the first Nano-Tech Story? I mean Building things at that scale?

Re: Hey Bookworm, What Are You READING?

Finally, long overdue, I am reading Vernor Vinge's Zones of Thought. Currently in the middle of A Fire On The Deep. I'm rather enjoying it.

So many books, so little time

Stephen Lawhead's The Silver Hand. I don't have the third book of the trilogy, but probably ought to buy it since it won't be at the local library.

It amazes me how unread New York residents are. There's barely any bookstores, and very few used bookstores.

Joseph Anton - A Memoir by Salman Rushide.

Wonder if The Satanic Verses would be published today as the west has become so obsequious to islam...

Re: Hey Bookworm, What Are You READING?

    Mag's anyone?
I just finished the Current Analog
    Astounding etc
Analog Science Fiction and Fact is an American science fiction magazine. As of 2013, it is the longest running continuously published magazine of that genre. Initially published in 1930 in the United States as Astounding Stories as a pulp magazine, it has undergone several name changes, primarily to Astounding

Get it at google play or kindle well worth it.

Re: Hey Bookworm, What Are You READING?

    Followed the link. Hmm.

The synopsis reads like a train wreck but it is Neal Stephenson we are talking here, so I'm guessing the book's going to be very good.
