That looks intriguing. I'll have to bookmark that and check it out a bit more sometime. Just ordered This Book Is Full Of Spiders off amazon myself. Let you all know what I think.

I meant I was trolling with mine.

That TOS is at another site but not to buy it on Amazon or Kindle for the Book I referred to?

But I got my first Mod Apology?

Mockery trolling is fine if you accept mockery moderation in return as well.

Your confession of being a troll has been added it to the record. You will be informed about the outcome of your trial as soon as necessary. Until further notice, keep yourself available for further investigations by the tribunal.

Re: Hey Bookworm, What Are You READING?

When Bob's tribunal has concluded and his punishment carried out, may I please have the clean, dried finger bones? Thanks!

In an effort to escape any trolling charge myself, I will mention that I am currently reading The Horror In The Museum - Collected Short Stories by H P Lovecraft. These stories (mainly collaborations and re-writes by HPL) are new to me so I am understandably excited - urine-dribblingly so - to be reading them.

Did someone say 'Lovecraft'? That's my cue!

His collaborations/ghost writings are mediocre at best - with one exception: Through the Gates of the Silver Key is excellent (maybe the best of the Dreamworld stories, in fact). A few others that I'll rec:

In the Walls of Eryx (with Kenneth Sterling): Has a campy "golden age of sci-fi" feel to it.

The Loved Dead (with C.M. Eddy, Jr): Pretty shocking content for the 1920s.

Under the Pyramids (ghostwritten for Harry Houdini): For the simple reason that it was ghostwritten for Harry Houdini. Has an atmosphere similar to The Nameless City.

Till A' the Seas (with Robert Barlow): So bad it's good. End-of-the-world porn. F*****' slime!

The Diary of Alonzo Typer (with William Lumley): Next to the ghastly Quest of Iranon, this is probably worst pile of dreck HPL ever penned, but it's worth the slog just to get to those last few paragraphs. The ending is so ridiculous that I guarantee you will laugh yourself to tears.

Tribunal?! Investigation?! For THESE jokers?! Waste of resources IMO - especially in this economy. A kangaroo court will suffice.

    Time to regroup
    Back to plan A
    Call out the troops
And as I always like to say
    Who needs finesse
    Just pound away

    Don't cloud your mind
    With any facts
    Seek and you'll find
    True legislation with an ax
    If there's debate
    then legislate
    when in doubt
    It's off with their heads
It's the least I can do
    off with their heads
Is the only phrase that always rings true
    Never gets old
    So I say to you
    With conviction
    Off with their heads
    it's my one real milieu
Every one dreads what the queen may say
    Though hats they may doff
It will be off with their heads
I try to be even and fair
    but as you see
    I'm almost never
    all quite there

    Noblesse oblige
    my derrier

When I demand all must adhere
I wave my hand and all my courtiers appear
and it they don't or if they won't
loud and clear it's off with their heads
    I don't care what they've done
    off with their heads
    is my first and second
    rule number one
Once you've begun well it's so much fun
    all together
Off with their heads is a mantra of mine
Off with their heads is my bottom line
and if you dare scoff, well then it's off with your head
    Don't need a congress or a constitution
    for its a forgone conclusion
that every problem has the same solution
    Persuade crusade with a
    gusto made renewable
    doable and misconstruable
    stainless steel blades

    Off with their heads
it's the least I can do
    Off with their heads
is the only phrase that always rings true

Baby it's off off off off off off off
    with their heads
    off with their heads

Mama says "Off with their heads"!

Dedicated to Elly and All the Mod's

    off with their heads"

A revolution needs people who are able and willing to perform it. You certainly don't want to expose yourself at its top before, else...

Great idea, a kangaroo court will make it even more of a mockery. Just as a facade, of course, we continue to act on our whims as before.
