I found an eth 0 socket glorious axe, now what?

Try the cube recipe, for 5 sockets? With Death in it, it will be an awesome charger weapon, dealing 1-2 points less average damage than a decapacitator, but having range 4! Maybe 4 sockets is useful as well, as HRs are expensive and Oath is still a rather decent runeword.

Or take the safe route and go to Larzuk, for 6 sockets and BotD... but who's using BotD in a glorious axe?

That's a TC87 weapon and quite a rare find, so I'm not taking it that easily.

I don't need help to decide the safety vs. gambling part of the question, I need to know how popular BotD and Death are in these axes.

Make a unique build with it. Axe sorc or something. I want to make a Kingslayer Vengeance sorc on SP, but I don't have a Gul yet.

If you cube-socket it, you have a 50% chance of it being usable.

I'll assume the "decapacitator" thing is intentional. It is funny.

Play it safe and make an Ebotd. It's wonderful for a 2h-axe WW or Berserk barbarian. Charger would work, too.

I wouldn't expect much demand for it since most barbs will dual wield for additional mods and most folks in higher end pvp that charged primarily focused on Smite that I've ever seen.

But being an eth tc87 definitely worth keeping for a rainy day.

its better as a botd IMO. Melee weapon runewords other than botd and grief are rarely used. So just larzuk it.

true but 2h charge pallys are still hilarious. Hardly serious duelers as they have no defenses without their shields, but they can one shot kill so many different classes. Really fun for pug dueling games, and you don't need a lot of gear to do it other than your big axe.

Yes, but among the big axes, a glorious axe is really big. As said, it has range 4 and it has the word GLORIOUS in its name. You can probably add to that by naming it properly

i had one a while back and never decided what to do with it. then that ladder ended and i believe i let it expire. indecision won the day.

Botd in glorious kind of sucks. I remember people used to use it on barbarians in euro-pvp but nowadays I don't know who would ever use it. Grief beast is obviously better by miles. And I don't really think it can be useful for any other character either. Atleast I can't think of any where there wouldn't be far better options.

Death in glorious on the other hand is actually good for chargers.
