Ladder / Non-ladder Dilemma

Hey,

I had a pretty "OK" WW Ghost on previous ladder. And I'm only interested in PvP in Diablo right now. So I have a dilemma: should I play months again to get gear on ladder and play there or maybe the non-ladder PvP scene is more interesting? Do you guys know any differences? I also don't want to fight in duels where 10 out of 10 of my opponents will have absolutely perfect gear (I've met few people like that on Ladder! before, so I guess on non-ladder it's on a bigger scale)

What do you guys think about Ladder vs Non-ladder PvP scene?

non ladder is loaded with more duped items from earlier patches and with more legit/''legit'' perfect items...

Ladder as of right now is probably a more fun PvP scene considering everyone is starting anew, Whilst non-ladder is cluttered with "old pvpers" and such full of as previously stated above "duped" items/ legit and questionably legit items.

Ladder is easier to gear characters on, and is more active while Non Ladder can be painful to gear characters and find duels but the duelers are generally more challenging. At least thats been my experience on east, anyway.

dont hold water on europe. plenty of games and tons of items...

Vknez, I don't know what does "don't hold water" mean. Should I stay on non-ladder, go on ladder or change a realm?

Non ladder obviously has a larger pool of items to choose from, and as a result the characters there are undoubtedly better geared. Also, while the average skill doesn't change a whole lot, the best players on non ladder are far better than those on ladder. If you are focused solely on the PVP aspect of diablo then I see no reason to move back to ladder and start anew. You waste time getting items that could be better spent dueling.

There is one reason though its a pretty time wasting one.

Incase you wish to gear up even better for the next ladder change, Perhaps have an easy built fortune from ladder for non ladder, have about every desirable ladder runeword + a ton of runes for trading.
