Now i need these questions to be answered before i can start thinking about aquiring the gear:

1) Dual BotdZ or a single BotdZ and BeastZ
2) Which weapon for BotdZ? Colossous Blade or Berserker Axe?
3) Which weapons on switch?
4) Enigma or Fortitude?
5) Will this be viable for PvM?
6) Can i do Ubers with this build?
7) Which belt? Verdungoes?

Why not BotdZ? It gives massive +30 to attributes and massive Ll. Or does the Grief just overpower BotdZ in terms of damage. Uhh was looking forward to making a BotdZ. Oh well.

Grief over powers the average damage. BotD has a high potential, but the min damage is very low. Grief is tight in the average damage and lacks the gap BotD has. When comparing average, Grief comes out on top.



As a side note, Life Leech is penalized in PvP.

life leech is rendered to almost useless to another player (but okay against miniors of other players e.g. wolves) but still... grief is much better than ebotd in terms of damage, the 30 to stats from ebotd doesn't really do much in pvp. Oh and don't forget the 20% deadly strike on the grief.

Hmm so Grief for PvP. What about PvM? Would i switch the Grief out and put a EbotdZ on and im set? Also would it be a good idea to put dual Hoto's on switch for tele and would i be able to do ubers? If so with which wep the Grief or Botdz? Also which wep for the Grief? Also which wep for the Beast? Lastly for the base Zerker axe, would i just larzuk it and it will get 6 socks? Thanx

Works fine for PvM, I like to swap out greif for botd and go botd/beast for pvm.(Grief/Beast is a must for PvP) All these weapons should be berzerker axes (you can't make beast in swords). Hoto's on switch is great for crazy fast tele to Baal. For Ubers? not 100% sure but if your res is stacked well you might be able use a Fury and go frenzy vs uber.

Larzuk usually gives the max sockets available, personally I try not to depend on that quest to roll for plain sockets as I think it's a waste. I'd definitely use it on something like Arreats or other uniques though.

Verdungo's for pvp, but string of ears and t-gods are also good options for pvm.

You could do pvm with grief/grief, grief/beast or botd/beast. Grief's ITD is great and 2 of those gives you the best damage, but BOTD has dual leech so you don't have to worry about getting it on a ring, and the ias from beast is great for using berserk.

For ubers I'd put on dracs, prebuff with treachery and get an armor with res like coh or gloom. You could use 1 pt frenzy or put on a stormshield and conc them.

Grief and beast both use 5 sockets so you'll have to use the cube recipe and get lucky.
