Returning player

So, I haven't played diablo in about 3 years because the cd drive in my last computer exploded and hasn't worked since. BUT! I just graduated high school, and, as a gift, I got a laptop! After a few hours of grinding through the bugs that Windows 7 has with Diablo, I am finally able to play it on my laptop! Woohoo!

I was just wondering if anyone would want to start one of those groups that meets weekly to progress through the game? I would love to participate in one, seen as I do not have my old account and need a character to start out with.

p.s.-- iirc, the dii.net channel is xbanana? or bananax? just wondering and if it is not, can someone direct me in the direction of another friendly hc channel?
