Tiger Attack!
Sorry
One would hope not. There's no reason the USAF can't mint a "drone ace" medal for good performance.
Ain't statism grand? Did McCartney go to bed without any supper?
Meh, the buffoon in question didn't manage anything out of his career. Unfortunately, the even worse Battalion Commander <did> make rank (he had once been General Saint's aide, and was therefore politically bulletproof), but he screwed the pooch during a highly visible demonstration of one of the "Future Soldier System" variants and was never put in charge of anything big afterwards.
Fire them now.
LOL
House bill: Fire US workers who are tax deadbeats
Chief sponsor Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said there were 102,794 federal employees who were delinquent with their federal taxes 2004 and only a slight drop to 98,291 in 2010 — including some 700 congressional employees.
The cost to taxpayers rose from just under $600 million in 2004 to more than $1 billion by 2010, he added.
Chaffetz cited an IRS report that among the delinquent federal employees were 1,181 employees at the Treasury Department, 91 workers at the Federal Reserve,
and nearly 6.5 percent of the employees at the U.S. Office of Government Ethics — which enforces ethics laws, yet had the worst compliance rate among federal agencies.
Google changed their search engine thingy...for the betterment of stupid. When you type in a word, it waits until you have all or most of it finished, then erases everything you just typed and puts in a previous entry. WHY?? Now, I have to erase that and retype my word. This is the dumbest thing ever. I do plenty of writing these days, and I type in hundreds of words to look up on wikionary. Does anyone know how to stop this malefic nonsense from happening? Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
