Well I am sorry, I just read up on it and it does sound unpleasant.

It manifests itself in the legs as they are the lowest point of my body. Oddly enough not in the feet but the pressure of the stockings is making my feet feel bruised too.

There's no cure but stockings and they are as bad as the condition itself, also because they're unpleasantly hot to wear (consisting mostly of elastic band), and misshaping my legs.
I wear 'm on the lower legs so they are thin, but there's lipoedema all over the body, also in the upper legs. The skin rubs together there and it's all rather unpleasant.

As I said, it's being uncomfortable that will sometimes make me cranky. Oh and people calling me fat and telling me to lose weight - why's the whole world weight obsessed? Otherwise, there's worse to be had - and winter's coming so it's perfectly normal to wear long trousers again.

Love to tease those Herbalife people though, who always try to sell their products with that fat measure equipment telling everyone their fat level (that's probably not the right word but I'm Dutch so sorry) is too high and they should be on a diet but most of all buy Herbalife....
Natural my fat level is corrupted by the lipoedema. I held the measure equipment and according to that I should look incredibly, horribly, bum-to-stamp-tractorsaddles-with obese. I don't. It confused 'm. :grin:

I miss "snapper" although I usually had no use for it in regular conversation. Civilized conversation, at least.
