Light sorc trouble

My light sorc just made it to hell and I am having trouble with hell environments even with a lower resist wand. A lot of environment I can do but like immunes I have to run a way. Any advice im not use to using elemental damage lol.

He already has an insight with over 200 max dmg. I just get owned all the time in hell environments. Hopefully my summon necro will find some items like occy to boost up dmg b/c I lack skills.

That's pretty low for an Insight.

If I were you I'd respec to something more cookie-cutter with sub-par gear (FO, Meteorb, Blizz...) and respec back once I have more wealth.

Yup. Probably not what you want to hear...but I would definitely recommend either a Meteor/Orb, or an Orb/CL build until you have cleared hell. After that you should have better gear and more +skills to respec and make a single element build work.

There's really no such thing as a true "single element" build...even with Infinity there's some LIs you still cant break. What you really are is a Lightning sorc whose second element is Physical, from your merc. So you really need to have a good, Hell-viable second element (merc) to take care of immunes. Which means you need to have a well-geared, high-level merc.

Since you don't right now, you're better served taking a second element from skills (meteorb, orb it all, CL/FO) until you do.
