When my Sorceress did her first Hell Andy run many moons ago she got a Tals Amulet and in the same game on her first ever Hell Meph run she got a 4% LL Bul Kathos...since then it has been a slew of low-mid uniques and set pieces or useless high uniques! I have nearly 400% mf on switch, pain!
Still, my lil sorcie is on the ladder and I intend to keep her there!
Fortunately the saving grace was the Hephasto dropped an Amn rune for me. That finally completed my first Insight set of runes so I didn't feel like I should be complaining about getting an El from forge (oh hell I'm gonna complain anyway!)
I did 10 first drop runs on Normal Meph and didn't get a single unique. Tons of crappy rares, a few crappy sets, but I didn't get a single thing worth keeping even at this early stage of the ladder. Oh well. I have a very short patience trying to magic find Meph anyway as I'd always rather move to Act IV for forge.
I've gotten Jalal's twice so far, not really sure how lucky it is. Traded the first one for a Pul, then the next one I got offered Mal + Pul + an awesome eth Obedience thrasher for my merc, so my sense of what it's worth is now kind of confused... figured if I had 2 of them by Act 2 Hell it can't be all that valuable.
edit: Well now I feel like an idiot. Just read on the trade forum that duping is possible, wasn't aware of that, guess I should expect that thrasher and the Mal to be disappearing? That guy did seem suspiciously eager to trade me all that stuff.
edit2: Ok I'm a total noob and this obviously isn't the place to discuss this, I'll investigate elsewhere.
Having just lost a HC Javazon in Dolls in a NM MF run, I was playing my necro which I had decided to level next, after progressing through NM for my first baal kill...What did he drop!
Got an 14/12/8 anni with my notwink level 86 hardcore necro with level 28(+2 for shrine)summons. It took 6 or so approaches in 3 hours with a break for lunch. First had to use a respec to get an unkillable 28/28 clay golem. That after seeing mages vapourizing on first contact then golem and skellies dying rapidly. Spent a long timescouring large areas to find purples and suitable revives as there were no urdars in act 4 (as usual) and only small amounts elsewhere.
On the way found a +3 curses amulet in the Durance :( having not yet managed to gamble a golemmancer one after ~15 million gambled away. Also found a rattlecage on the blood moor which the merc then wore instead of the 1597 smoke dusk shroud he was wearing and a duriels shell in act 2
Finally had to use up socket quest to put a 39 ed jewel in the mercs tal mask to get that last sliver of live off the clone
Still cut it fine. but the punch drunk and overdosed on purples merc wielding his obedience cyrptic axe won the day.
To start off I was in a NM game when the ladder popped all those Dclones on Friday night I think it was, so I didnt get my fresh small charm from him...
I did manage to find a +4 Thunderstroke and now Im gonna have to make a CS Baal killer for it. Not much else worth mentioning, my sorc is only toting around about 125% mf so nothing spectacular yet from her. I got bored and made a Summoner and without teleport hes becoming tedious already.
I got a Hel roon on my Nm forge for the Necro but then I made it to the throne and found a Pul so it made up for it..
