redaussie - please do not MP or trade without PMing me first. We have a list of accepted mods which we allow (see the SPF FAQ - post 9) and what you mention is not one of them.
You will find that GoMule is much less tolerant than ATMA with items which may have been altered by some programs. This may be the cause of your issue.
I'm sure Ladvarian will pop by and assist with GoMule but in honesty, it may be difficult to help you unless you are using a clean install.
Please remember to PM me before MP/trade; using non-accepted mods and trading is not acceptable.

My sincere apologies, I have been reading a lot here over the last couple of days and can't recall coming across a mention of that mod being unacceptable. I realise that it is not on the FAQ of acceptable ones, which I did read but I made the mistake of assuming that because it is a loader that there shouldn't be anything wrong with it, my mistake.
I am not very computer friendly, and I used it because it was the first one to appear when I googled for somthing like that.
Since the mistake was my fault I won't trade, and will probably just continue as I have been with manual muleing.
I'll probably do as suggested in the near future and do a clean install if I can arrange a friend to install the 1.13c patch for me, I have a couple of characters further advanced than I have ever gotten any before at level 73 and 70 and want to continue with them for now.
Thanks for your time and for not banning me outright which I realise you could have done.
Sincerely redaussie
I deleted GoMule a while ago and I just started playing Diablo again so I wanted to store some uniques I found and I just downloaded the file, extracted it, ran the jar inside with java, and I get this.
It still opens GoMule after the error but it doesn't really work well. Can't open character files and some of the icons are missing. :/ Windows 7 if that makes any difference. And this is the same computer I had GoMule on the first time.Code:Error null at randall.d2files.D2FileReader.getCounterBoolean(D2FileReader.java:102) at randall.d2files.D2FileReader.getCounterInt(D2FileReader.java:196) at randall.d2files.D2TblFile.<init>(D2TblFile.java:81) at randall.d2files.D2TblFile.readAllFiles(D2TblFile.java:49) at gomule.gui.D2FileManager.<init>(D2FileManager.java:109) at gomule.gui.D2FileManager.<clinit>(D2FileManager.java:70) at gomule.GoMule$1.run(GoMule.java:110) at java.awt.event.InvocationEvent.dispatch(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.access$000(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.security.AccessControlContext$1.doIntersectionPrivilege(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpOneEventForFilters(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForFilter(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForHierarchy(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(Unknown Source)
Did you extract all the files from the zip or did you just extract or double click on the jar file inside the zip? You need to extract everything. Check the folder GoMule is in and see if all the files were extracted.
If they are all there where did you put the GoMule folder? Try placing it on your desktop and see if it opens correctly there. I just tested it and I get the same error and problem from only having the jar file.
I have a question here. How do i bring something from 1.07 to a higher patch? I've got a 1.07-mpk-ring i want to bring into 1.09d. Doesn't seems to work to just drag from the d2s-file into some char in 1.09..
You have to put the ring in a 1.07 mule and them open it with D2 1.9b. After that you can move the ring in atma from that mule to a 1.09b stash/char.
So I just reinstalled d2 and wanted to run atma again. I used it before but apparently cannot remember how. I've tried to follow the steps but I cannot get anywhere with it. I'm on 1.12 and windows 7 if that matters. When I download it the only things listed are up to v 1.10. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated. Step by step since I'm not computer savy.
By 'things' which do you mean, items or pull down menus?
If you mean an item's display, all the items created in 1.10 and later will be listed as 1.10+
If you mean pull down menus, you should see up to 1.11 Try creating a new character or stash and see which version is listed.
If you have the current version of ATMA it will still work for any version of the game. When creating 1.12 and 1.13 stashes create them using 1.11 in the menu. If you do not mind java and will not be using older, pre 1.10, patches I'd suggest trying GoMule instead. It is a lot easier to move items and the sort feature is nice. Hope that answered your questions.
Edit: Even though you are using 1.12 I'd suggest you download ATMA for 1.13. It will be backwards compatible and you will not have to patch ATMA for 1.13 if you decide to upgrade later.
