What Was Your Best Drop Today?

Nice on the SoJ. The frequent ladder resets were one of the few reasons why I am now on SP for my Grail goal (no limit to number of game made per hour, set maps, etc).

Update on my latest drops: Still no Harlequin Crest.

Most interesting was probably a Goldstrike Arch that turned out was less than 30% away from perfect total across all variable stats (the total variable range is ~300% across all stats). And got my first SP Stealskull, it was 1% ed away from an otherwise perfect Steal Skull. I guess I got my pit bowzon's Helm sorted (I was happy with the drop, perfect MF Stealskull was something that elluded me since 1.09d days).

You should check out the grail thread in the SPF if you are going for a grail. And of course the SP Trade Forum if you want to trade for some of the stuff or just improve your runners.

Unfortunately I am using a (disallowed) mod which has shared stash in game, and so I basically disqualified myself from trading on SPF :P.

That said, my ultimate goal is really to have everything self found. Long journey, true, but it's something I want to achieve.

Last Night's Mephisto Adventure:

Yet another day passes, without a Shako drop. The closest moment I have to a screen punch was a Rare Shako drop from Mephy.

I kept persevering on, eventually a Unique ring and Unique amulet dropped last night. When they dropped, I was thinking, Could it be true, could I, having kept going for this length of time, be awarded with a surprise? Fat chance. Those were Dwarf Star and Mahim-Oak Curio.

In a twisted irony, I had 2 Gimmershreds drop last night, one from a Boss pack on the way to LK chests, and another from... a chest...

things that I kept: 24 res Skin of Viper (Har har har), Eth Hotspur, IK parts (especially maul, despite now I have about 10 of them, none of them were perfect or even imperfect).

And chenw's quest for an SP shako continues unabated, unfortunately.

Best drop yesterday was Ist from LK super chests. With the Ohm and Mal earlier, that makes for all the runes I need for CtA.

Again, Meph gave me a double dura blue Shako, later, Titan's Revenge and Lycander's Aim in two consecutive kills.

Maybe it's trying to tell me something?

found a +1 sorc skills +39 life GC in the CS today. highest life ive seen on a skill GC yet (previously, was a 36 bow skill GC)

Or just an Amazon in general, I have no less than 4 Titan's and 2 Lycander's aim, 3 WWS and many other Zon based gear.

I tried to start one last night, and boy am I confused on how to bloody play a Zon lol, I don't think I ever leveled a zon properly, and this time I am doing it on SP. Unique normal bows are crap and there are no Unique javelins before Titan's >.<

Anyway, Nature's Peace, +13 str/60 poison res sandstorm treks and a Waterwalk were my best meph drops last night...

I tried to start one last night, and boy am I confused on how to bloody play a Zon lol, I don't think I ever leveled a zon properly, and this time I am doing it on SP. Unique normal bows are crap and there are no Unique javelins before Titan's >.<

Use whatever melee you like (savage polearm, death set, some spear or jav with jab) until lvl 30. Then you don't need anything but a magical jav that replenishes itself until titan's

and btw: another shako from pits.. bwaha. I've had such a shako dryspell for ages and was down to only one after deeding two chars who was wearing them.

Even Kurast superchests are better to me than Mephisto... Ist from LK again.

I tried doing some pit runs with my shiney new hammerdin, wanna guess what? He got a Titan's revenge, making it 5th or 6th one now. I probably would not be THAT annoyed if either one of these happed:

1. One of it was ethereal
2. I got a Shako

Of course, neither did.

Then I tried doing Andy runs too on my sorc, and even Andariel was nice, A Seraph's Hymn by the 10th run.
