Hi all! I would like to join a Hamachi game. I only play it ocationally. Right now I'm level 41 with my sorc. I play HC vanilla D2 from Linux and I connect to Hamachi via the console so I don't know how to chat through it. By the way, I'm new here and I don't know which are the right "steps" to get the Hamachi network name. Sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language.
Plenty of us does't have English as a first language, and don't worry, your's is fine
Welcome!
To answer your questions:
Read the stickies. Read the trade rules (in the SPTF). Make a trade profile (also necessary for MP).
As for how to join a hamachi network, check out the thread logout has on the front page of the MP forum. Alternatively you are welcome to PM me for access to another, smaller network.
Playing Vanilla might be a problem, as I think all of the HCers are pretty much FAM. However, i you don't mind getting tainted it's ofc no problem at all.
I'm not sure what connecting to hamachi via the console means. Do you not play D2 on your computer? Not being able to chat on hamachi will maybe be sort of a problem, as 95% of our MPing is organized in this way.
Also, consider making an intro thread in the SPF![]()
Anyone up for a romp in the Pits, HC style? New Hamachi network (while I wait for the Hamachi admin to link my old connections):
Spoiler
Sorry Jason! If you, or anyone else, is around in about 3 hours I'll be down for some old school tcp/ip act 3 questing through nightmare! Possibly be earlier than 3 hours, like 1.5
Up for some 1.13d HC shenanigans with my Strafer. I'm going to start running through from the beginning of Act 1, and decide what to do when someone joins in. Hamachi network in my previous post. If that one's full, change the 3 to 4 or 5.
Edit: Game down

Anyone up for new chars, untwinked HC? Wouldn't mind starting up an Assassin tonight, and go through in MP. Probably going to be a kicksin.
I can start. Although, if you're in Australia, one of us is going to lag hard.
