Question regarding ATMA

If I find a unique in Classic (such as SoJ), do I need to keep it in a sep. stash from my LOD uniques? I am playing the same verison of both (v1.12). I know there are many unique and set items that can't be used in classic that were added for LOD.

Can a LOD character use the hypothetical SoJ (or any unique or set that is used in both versions of the game) if it is found in Classic?

ATMA has a few issues with classic items and characters, I believe it was something along the lines of not being able to remove items with 'x per level' affixes or something like that. I'd keep a separate stash for your classic items, and if there's something you want to use with your LoD chars transfer it (put it into a classic char, and convert to LoD), but be aware this step can't be undone.
