Not everything which we believe to know about ourselves is accurate. We are actually strongly biased about adjucating ourselves. How else could you explain all the awful wannabe talents in these terrible casting shows? Most of them really believe that they are good, else they wouldn't take the risk to be humiliated while all of their friends, enemies and a couple of millions of people are watching.

I'm sure that Johnny still knows less about you personally than you, but he never talked just about you, but about girls in general. Also, "bad" might be the wrong term. "Cool" is probably matching better. If cool=bad, then it's bad boys, else it might be something different.
