The picture of me is so outdated...like from high school. One thing that can be easily done is to have a Facebook group of OTFers; the only issue I can see is that not everyone uses Facebook or some people not wanting a little bit of extra info on them being out.

How about a little bit of each, combined with my writing skills?
The content was pretty much like this:

1. If people want to submit mugshots, it could be a good/fun idea to either:
1a) Have Durf's OT-Faces page updated with some new faces, or
1b) Host the mugshots on a page somewhere, or
1c) Collect links to people's mugshots in one post (preferably the first in a thread) which can then be stickied.
2. The reasons why this thread only works for a finite amount of time are:
2a) Because it's annoying having to go through 30 pages to find one mugshot, better have them all easy to find and browse.
2b) Because pictures uploaded to imageshack only stays there for a while, not forever. (Hence the advantage of having someone to host them) Of course, if someone wants their pic(s) removed from a hosted page, it has to be possible too, which is the advantage of having them here on the forums.

There is always option 3 LorVen. One can become a pal and put their mug on their page. Then all one has to do to view their face is simply click their name and hit public profile.

You're making it too easy, or hard, depending on how you see it.
Not all people can or want to pay, especially not for us to watch a mugshot.
Though it makes sense to have your pic on your profile, it also adds a personal touch to every post. What if you don't look like I expect, yet I have to see that face every time I view your post history to find a post to comment? You see, I have mental images of how most people here *should* look according to their posting style :rolleyes:

Lorven, whatever you decide to do, I'm fine with.

I like to have an image in my head of the people posting in here... I think, like you said, it adds a personal touch to a post, and, for me, makes it easier to talk to someone

i think someone mentioned a fb of OTFers (Ogre?). well, hell even then my profile pic is partially concealed as i like to hide my face!! you have to "befriend" or whatever to see what me and Marahumm look like! lol!!
