*facepalm*
I added your stinkin T-God's, I don't really feel like going through and deleting all of the codes for smaller text
yeah i think fant would be the ideal aura, it gives damage ar and attkspeed correct? feel free to correct me if im wrong.
well, here's what i had in mind so far
skills -
20-sacrafice
20-zeal
20-fant
20-blessed aim(im told you get passive AR from this)
and then some one pointers in prereq's and some resists auras vigor etc.
stats im kinda at a loss what to do with yet, i was thinking massive vit/str for good hp and nice damage boost... dunno how str works on pallies though seeing as i've never really played one very much.
@Grapeape, I've made several 2h Zealots. My advice is based around solo play.
20Zeal/20Sacrifice/20Fanatacism/20Blessed Aim is good.
When playing solo, I really like using Conversion on a 2h Zealot. With no shield, you need the extra tank(s). At least slvl 5 Conversion.
Do not pump Strength. It isn't worth it. Get enough Str to equip your gear, then pump vitality as much as possible. You will be getting hit a lot with no shield. You want that hp.
Slows Target mod is good as well (Nosferatu's Coil, Blackhorn's Face, Cleglaw's Pincers, Holy Freeze merc).
You probably read it, but:
Prickle Knight
Thorns:
This aura would work well with a two-handed weapon. Since you want to be hit, 50% Damage Reduction, plus a lot of running would do you good in a thick battle with a lot of monsters.
Mind you this is a mini-guide here, and I haven't tested this:
Skills -
Sac- 20 | Zeal - 20 | Charge - 20 | Blessed Aim - 20 | Fanat - 20 | Salv - 1
104 Skill Point Total
Level 92
Stats -
STR and DEX - enough for gear and pump the rest into Vita
Anyways, if you have any suggestions, find something misspelled, or missing tell me, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
I'm still working on the Passion vs Kingslayer so I'll have the results for those in a few days.
Don't bother with Passion or Kingslayer, they got crappy dmg thus crappy Berserk/Vengeance.
Azurewrath is pretty much all you need vs PIs.
1pt Vengeance is also an excellent way to deal with em provided you don't use Grief. You're a physical char, skill points don't mean much to you.
I almost forgot about Azurewrath!! Thank you for pointing that out. I'll compare Passion, Kingslayer, and Azurewrath. Very nice stats for Az though.
I'm going to agree with you on a certain level with the skill points, + skills are obviously worthless for Zealots, but you want to max defiance as your last skill. Once you max defiance you're at least level 95. Assuming you have completed the skill quests. For those last 4 levels it's completely up to you as to what you want to place them in, I'd recommend Salvation, Cleansing and Vigor. I'll edit the Skill section to reflect this though. Appreciate the ideas.
*~_EDIT_~*
Results posted in weapons section, thanks Scudstorm.

Not quite right.----------------Skills----------------
107 Skills Total - Skills for PvP and PvM are absolutely interchangeable so don't worry about it.
4 Extra Skills Left Over
98 skill points from levels to 99, you don't get a skill point at level 1. Then add 12 skill points from quests = 110 skill points, not 111 (107 + 4)
Thank you Asmodeous, I appreciate it, really I do.
Decent guide, overall. My thoughts:
About 1-pointers:
Prayer: At level 1, prayer's effect is insignificant for anyone with more than about 300 life. I would discourage anyone from bothering with it unless they plan on putting all 20 in.
Cleansing: At level 1 it just isn't useful enough to warrant over your main aura. For players that decide they want Prayer's healing, 1 point in Cleansing is a very good idea, because Cleansing gives Prayer's healing without the mana cost.
Holy Bolt: I know it's a prerequisite, but I noticed you also said it could be used for healing. Holy Bolt's healing at level one will only be useful for party play at low levels. It's not that useful for anyone that has more than about 100 life. Synergized Max Holy Bolt is nice, but this isn't a Cleric build.
Salvation: This is good for a 1-pointer
Vengeance: The single most important 1-pointer for a zealot. I think some others have explained it adequately enough.
I suggest you add Meditation: Most Paladins won't need it for themselves, but one of the main selling points of the Paladin is all of his party friendly auras. The extra mana regeneration can be very useful for other classes, as long as there isn't already an Insight merc hanging around somewhere.
It's because there are already a lot of other zealot guides out there. When someone decides they want to make a guide about something that someone else has already made a guide about, it is going to be compared with the other guides. If a guide doesn't offer something that the others didn't, then it usually won't get positive feedback. Don't get me wrong, some of the criticism was harsh, but the guide really does look like every other guide.
@ Tidolwav: You should add a section about how to effectively use respecs for a Zealot build. It would make your guide stand out more.
