I have no problems running the older versions and my "real" install is the DL version.

Well, I thought I would give an update as I have finally resolved my problem.

It's Kinda strange but 1.07 won't work if you are using 1.12 disks!!!
I bought the battle chest, making sure it was the right version, and it was...at least the box. Someone had shoved 1.12 disks in the 1.07 box

I realized this when I tried to reinstall from the disks and it asked for a 26 digit key. Well I got some new old disks, put them in and...It Works!

Hi there. I have problems with mattinsm 1.00 built folder.

I have used the switcher for many versions and havent had this problem (1.06b works fine for ex).

The problem is that when i start 1.00 in full screen i get the "blizzard intro" but then i get "unhandled exception" in windows. I i run in window mode it works.

anyone have an idea?

Are you trying to run multiple copies at once?

yep, for 1.07 playersX simulation (to party up with myself, and increase exp from mobs).

So it works fine just running one copy in 1.07, correct?

I assume you actually Installed the modified .dll correctly?

Did this just start happening or has it worked in the past for you?

Could this have anything to do with you upgrading to 1.13D?

I can run 1 instance of 1.08 without any prob.

mattinm says on page 4 of this thread

All LoD personal version folders include an options modified D2gfx.dll for running multiple instances (not used by default)

as for 1.13d, I patched it. maybe that's bugging me...
I just yesterday decided to go 1.07, so I have no idea would it work multiple before 1.13d or not.

yep it works, I have failed to notice the D2gfx.dll_1.07 file inside folder.

Real dumb question.. how do I get to 1.13c with this? Spell it out for me, I'm tired and an idiot :P

I need some help with this. I want to try 1.10s.
1. I've DL/installed d2 from blizzards page and patched it to 1.13c(I bought a new MB and my dvdplayer doesnt have the right connections).
2. I've dl all the versions off trenshadows patches 1.00-1.13.
3. I can play 1.00-1.06b and 1.12a-1.13a. Rest off the patches doesn't start. No error msg or anything
Does anyone have any idé whats wrong?

Running with win7, I want to start d2 in windowed mode (tried fullscreen on some version).

Edit: Forgot to add that I have a .iso copy of my playdisc and emulating a dvdplayer
