Done @ lvl 85, additional points go into Double Swing/Taunt for more damage.
Will I have enough damage and enough AR with this skill distribution? Since this is HC and I'm a partial support character, I wanted a decent level WC and high BO to benefit my party. But I'm afraid I'll do jack for damage without synergizing completely. I'd like to take this guy to Guardian if I can. What are your thoughts?
P.S. Explanation for funky skill distribution: DS is at 9 so the mana cost will be 0, Frenzy is at 13 because of diminishing returns for +attack and r/w speed. I expect to have around +3 skills with this build when finished so slvl 16 Frenzy is only 3% attack speed away from max and won't likely change my fpa with any weapon set up. Though it does add more dmg and AR, the dmg is not as much as the synergies and the AR I figure can be made up with charms...?
while taunt can be really handy 1 would leave it at lvl 1 and put its points in Battle Cry
at slvl 10 it would give -68% def amd -34% damage to opponents that should take care of you AR probs and you dont get hurt as much ^^
I do like to max them. With frenzy, your offence is your best defence, so you need your damage and fair ammount of leech. But with proper equipment in certain situtations I don't see why your build wouldn't work aswell.
@ Kalkanor: the reason I have points in taunt is purely for the frenzy synergy, but I agree battle cry is great defensively. If I could get by with even fewer frenzy synergies I would but I fear I'm already too thin.
Perhaps I'll take away 5 in WC and dump them in Frenzy or a synergy for more dmg. Does the stun duration for WC get decreased to 1/4 in hell?
Frenzy adds attack speed too. The more points in frenzy the less ias needed to reach breakpoints.
Yes, but double swing is a lot faster than Frenzy to start with, and if we go off the old bp formulas Frenzy's extra IAS even at high levels is not enough to compensate for the difference. At ~level 10 Frenzy you are definitely a lot slower than DS.
