What will be your first wizard build??

I'm thinking that if I play the Wiz, I might as well go with the "all powerful mage" theme:

Explosive Blast
Mirror Image
Disintegrate
Slow Time
Meteor
Teleport
Familiar

And I'll invest in traits that support the blasty mage archetype, like Arcane Channeling, Unbreakable Will, Staff Specialization, Quickening, Ball of Lightning, Expanded Mind, and Anti-Magic Shield.

Again, seven skills is too few. :(

I am particularly intrigued at the possibility of a mid range nova type user.

The build would max explosive blast (with the multiple explosion rune), max frost nova, and electrocute, with the obvious +1 skills placed in slow time, diamond skin, and teleport.

Basically, the character would herd packs of monsters, cast explosive blast (since it is duration based) from a distance, teleport into the pack of monsters, then immediately frost nova. If timed correctly, the frost nova and explosive blast should hit at roughly the same time.

This is all just theory of course, but it sounds fun.

I have no idea what skills she/he has .. except the slow time and a ray of frost i think its called (and i asume fireballs)

But i'm gonna go for some arcane stuff with defensive utility. Since i'm playing hardcore. I hope it'll work out good (i wont be playing alone though so might depend what my mates pick)

Currently i have no clue in what direction the first build will be going. There will be a lot of experimentation on the way to hell, so depending on traits, skills and available runes it might all change in a fly and eventually end in a thorough re-spec when it becomes available!
