Bone armour rw anygood?

I cant afford enigma yet for my summoning necro and at the moment he has the trang armour, would the bone rune word armour be better than trangs? or are there other better alternatives? thanks

Trangs is okish. I'd rather have an MF armor like Skullder's though. Bone is not worth the two Ums.

From another aspect - seeing that Armor as a (Pre)Buff for other than Nec characters - it is not worthy since it "Wears off by Hits".
I would be greatly content with similar Item with Holy Shield! ...

the Bone 1.11 runeword is pure junk. the only half decent mods are the +2 skills and the 30 res.

seeing as the 30 res comes directly from the two Um runes in the RW, i see it as a seriously bad deal.

any Viper would be better imho.

You would be better to work towards getting trangs set than to make bone.

I've seen oddball melee Necro builds using Bone armour in conjunction with either a 2x Shael Bonehew or an ethereal Oath Scourge - synergising the proc skills and using the constantly proc'ing Bone Armor skill to help survival in melee.

For the moment he is just using wealth for the gold find and mf. This makes it alot easier for me to gather the currency i need for enigma :P

For boners bone is quite good. Auto-refreshing bone armoor, as well as some other nice stuff like +2 nec and 30 allres.

It's even better for the bonemason and brandmancer.
