the mid to late 90's were amazing for music.
millencolin, fenix tx, mxpx, blink 182, new found glory....and a ton more great bands were really big in those years.
Johnny Cash - "Hurt"
I love the NiN version, my first thought when I heared this was "woah, that's a cover song?" but then I saw the vid, I saw how old Johnny looked and realized that he actually covered NiN.
Trent Reznor himself said he likes Cash' version better. And actually, I do too. I also love Johnny Cash' cover of "One" (U2 song).
- Snow
When people tell me "plz" just because it's shorter than 'please', I feel perfectly justified to answer 'No' because it's shorter than 'Yes'.
And the Lord said unto Carl: 'Come forth and receive eternal life'. But Carl came fifth and won a toaster.
Ever since Last.fm made people pay for the radio, I've had to listen to my mp3 player here in the computer lab. Stupid greedy Last.fm...
Listening to Behemoth's newer album "Ezkaton".
Gojira-The Way of All Flesh :-P
pink floyd - learning to fly
dude, my friend went to see them at a show recently. he got road burn on his arm and said he was dropped on his head, but it was an AMAZING show and he "felt so ALIVE!!!" hehe, i was a bit jealous. the only battle wound i have ever received was a bump on my head and maybe a knee scrape. XD
Man, I saw Gojira live, they are amazing live. They played with... Lamb of God, I think? I forget, but it was a fantastic show.
I don't have too many battle wounds from concerts, I don't know why either, I spend so much time in the pit... I am hardcore yo.
I have a pretty funny story for the Gojira set though. My friend ran right into the center of the pit before it really started getting too intense, since it was seconds into the first song, and he slipped and fell on his *** right in the center of the circle that was forming around the people who wanted to mosh.
The tour t-shirt I bought for Gojira says Calgary, Alabama on the back.
