I absolutely loved Thom Yorke's The Eraser and its companion EP Spitting Feathers, but that was waaaaaay back in 2006-07 and I never thought he'd get around to doing a follow-up.
Welp, I was wrong and I'm really happy that I was. The album doesn't drop until January, but I love what I'm hearing so far:
Fiona Apple's The Idler Wheel... has been getting alot of spin too. I'm not terribly familiar with her oeuvre, but I bumped into this particular album by accident and it clicked with me. I don't even know which track to share here (so I'll pick a random one) - it's a quirky, challenging album and the whole is greater than the individual tracks.
I suppose I should post something that someone might actually listen to?Can't go wrong with some Zep. Here's an overlooked gem from Presence:
