What shield for 1 pt smiter switch pvm

Just wondering what I should use with my gimmershred (for IM and phys immunes)?

Should I just do a elite pally shield with 4 perf diamonds?

This is for uber trist and organ hunting!

That sounds nice and all. but i advise going with an...

HoZ - Socketed with a PDiamond. Or a Jewel with 15% resist/ (your choice)

Too get a better answer, you should tell us your Armor/Helm/Gloves/Boots

So we can see what resist your already sitting on.

If you use CoH (Amazing Choice) Thats 60% Resist.
CoA i think gives another 20? or is it 30?

Its all gear based to be honest.

It has less to do with total gear as it does with the cost. If you can afford the HoZ then its a great choice, if you can't then any 4 socket elite pally shield with base resistance will be a great choice, Gris shield is another great choice.

If you can stay outta melee range and/or don't need extra safety from your shield slot, Tiamat's Rebuke.

TBH I don't think a PDiamond'ed Tiamat's will have much lower res than your main shield.

Anya quest done on all three difficulties so 30 res all from that.

Just another quick question I might do key runs with this character as well. I am going to switch out the wirefleece for enigma to make doing the key runs easier. Then when it comes to boss time switch back to fortitude. Would that be okay?

Yes, that would be fine. With Grief you might not need to switch back to the Fort when you hit an organ boss.

I kind of rely on the 29 res all in the Fort armor. I guess just get 6 more 5 res all sc in my inv. Not too mention are there not other important bonuses damage bonus, defense bonus, damage reduction bonus, life bonus.

To address the original question: cost vs benefit, I'd say Tiamats. If you're only using it for PIs and IM, then you just want to pile on as much ele damage as possible. Or maybe a combination of pdiamond/IAS jewels in a 4os pally shield, if you need more IAS to hit throwing-speed breakpoints..?

Well Organ bosses are not too crazy hard to beat. Teleporting to the boss, smiting a few times grab the organ tp/teleport out.

Naj's staff could always be a cheap option if your just looking for a way to teleport to the bosses. Switch to the staff, teleport to the boss, swich to Grief use Smite rinse/repeat.
