Solfeggietto. That was always my favorite to play.

I had many piano competitions where I played those. I could never play as written. I played what I felt at the time. Music is a feeling not written notes.

Loss From a Distance Part 1 & 2 by Buckethead from the album Condensed Chicken Noodles. The entire song is 18 minutes.
Frankly, I love all songs from that album, but this one I find the most worthy of posting :] Also from the limited edition Cyborg Slunks, Aunt Suzie
It cuts off at minute 10 because that is the limit for uploading songs on YouTube. The actual song is more or less 13 minutes.
Lohengrin prelude from Wagner, conducted by Furtwängler:
This music is pure. The grandeur of heaven. Wonderful *sniff*

Why was buckethead in a thread about classic/romantic music??
Probably because boogyman thought that I meant romantic music in general while I actually meant the romantic period of music in the 19th century.

I think I had the Right music, just modern performances with modern instruments.
but...
Mine's not Buckethead.
I still like my first post in this thread best.
But the one at the end of the last page inspired a bit of hate at the start of this one.

Double post but todays it's Anniversary
On this day...
December 22:
1808 – German composer Ludwig van Beethoven premiered his Fifth Symphony, currently one of the most popular and well-known compositions in all of European classical music, at the Theater an der Wien in Vienna.
Well spotted!
I heard the premiere was quite a failure, even though a few of the greatest musical masterpieces of all time were played for the first time (5th symphony, 6th symphony and more). Several hours of music in a very cold theatre and the musicians didn't have enough time to prepare, that couldn't go well.
