Guillaume's Face

Looking for feedback from people that have actually tried using Guillaume's Face; as I know the numbers needed for Ubers resist wise.

From what I see, All I would be losing is AR and Resist; possibly surpassed by the 100% CB and DS I could potentially have.

you pretty much figured it out. i had the same dilemna before and after testing both a LOT, i use guillaumes now, even for pvm.

the DS and especially the CB more than compensates for the loss of a little damage, leech, AR and/or res. thats true with any curse.

with that said, i'm not sure using guillaumes would be a good idea if you use last wish and gores, which would take CB to 110-120% (i personally use a death zerk as an offhand so i dont have that issue). my guess is that it probably still is better.

by the way, botd CB is a rather slow weapon, why not use grief instead? who cares about the leech if you're using lifetap...

for the ultimate ownage, i would suggest you try this since you already have the weaps:
grief PB (main hand)
death CB (off hand)
loh
gores
nosferatu (10% slow > 15% dmr from string)
coh
guillaumes (15 ias with whatever)
2x ravens
highlords
gavel of pain on switch (for amp dmg)
AR charms (res if you must)
fade + demonlimb prebuff

thanks for the input...BOtd is is suggested as a mainhand wep fro most guides and it has some ridiculous passive stats; but I'll give your Idea a try.Ive been having a tought time tracking down a 15IAS jewle tho.

Would a Last WHish PB be the better option?

Socketed Guillaume's Face with a 15IAS 20%ED jewel;I have done 6-7 Baal and Chaos runs.I am able to kill Baal faster, but not nearly as fast as I anticipated.I have yet to try using the helmet on Ubers; the drop in overall stats and resists give me doubt as to its value in regards to Ubers.I take alot more damage on trash clearing than even with my MF gear.

My runs have been with BOTD CB mainhand and Death CB offhand.
I will try switching up weapons between Last Whish and Grief.
Would a Last Whish PB be a better option?
I am thinking Last whish as an offhand would be mandatory using this helmet?I know Life tap wands are viable but I don't want to bother.I'm trying to make a beast Frenzy barb that doesn't have to really on many ''gimmicks''

Trash is dying noticeably faster...but the big drop in AR and resists has me worried.

ALso, I thought AMp damage overides Life Tap?

Obviously, if you don't compensate the loss of 30 res elsewhere you are taking more than twice as much elemental damage if your resists are maxed with Arreats.

Right, so...LAst whish with Fade? whats the duration on the fAde buff?; if its just used for Uber.

Well, on the first page you were talking about 2 res GC. That would be the most logical step.

For Fade duration just check AS or a skill calc.

Okay, I figured out the most insane damage setup;I have yet to try it out in Uber Trist.

Helmet: Guillaume's Face 15IAS/20ED Jewel
Weapons: Mainhand= PB GRief Offhand PB Last Whish
Amulet: HIghlords
Gloves: LOH
Armor: Coh or Enigma
Belt: Nosferatu's Coil (never to much IAS) FRenzy takes a few swings to kick in....
Boots: Gores
Rings: Raven's
Charms---- 1-2 Resist//Life GC, 3 WC//Life GC,stack AR//Lifers

After running many different weapon setups through Baal and CHaos runs; This has yielded the best results,Especially in CHaos runs.I only have one point in Berserk, and with this weapon set I was able to one shot everything in Chaos spamming berserk.

My assumption about Guillaume's Face was correct; Last Whish is a mandatory OffHand Weapon to take full advantage of the CB and DS.The stat loss from Arreats is only compensated by a Last Whish(Fade), but the damage gain is far surpassed.I am looking forward to testing this setup on Ubers.

To add: as I have stated before, I want to avoid as many gear swaps and such;Fade,Life Tap,Amp Damage can all be achieved with "pain in the A$$'' gear swaps.

I Just need to swap my Act 2 Hell Might merc for a Act 2 Hell Blessed AIm merc to maximize damage

It doesn't really take a lot of CB to do the Ubers, my wolfbarb would do it easily with the CB from Gores. I think the DS from Gface would be more of a help as teh part that is really slow is the last little bit of life they have.
