CTA in a Thunder Maul, possible?

I have this 5os thunder maul and was thinking of making a CTA with it, possible?

The way I read Aerret summit is a CTA is for weapons=melee weapons=hammers and the thunder maul is classed as a hammer.

I hope I have this interpreted correctly. Any help is appreciated.

It's possible, but I don't see why. CtA is not really an outstanding weapon considering the rune cost and you don't need the BO.
