    shield for K/T Sin?

currently my sin in SP is using the following:

    helm: rare+2 sins circ
    ammy: rare+2 shadow disciplines
    armor: stealth runeword lol -_-
weapon: crescent moon // black ? which one is better
    shield: tiamat's rebuke
    belt: wilhelm's pride (dual leech)
    gloves: magnus skin 20%IAS, +AR
    boots: upped goblin toes

should i use spirit monarch instead of tiamats? tiamat gives qutie a bit of elemental damage so i don't want to lose that and make my kicks weaker. any ideas? thanks!

right now kicks only hiting 435 max dmg :(

your boots are part of the reason you're hitting such low damage. If they're only upped once, you need to up them one more time for decent damage. Or better yet get gores and up those once. I don't think a spirit can be made in SP but even so, its primarily for casters not melee. tiamat's doesn't add much, a glimmershred would add more. Crescent moon holds little benefit, but a kicksin that doesn't uber has plenty of weapon options.

    Upped Gores for boots.
Change the helm to Guillaume's face.
Crescent moon is a good choice for weapon.
Stormshield for shield, if not Tiamat's.
Laying of Hands / Dracul's grasp for gloves.
Duress is a nice armour, or Lionheart for a cheap option.

crescent really doesn't help because your traps are minions and the big bonuses don't apply.

The trick to K/T is figuring out how much kick power and trap power you want. Kick gear will drop your trap side and vice versa.

If you want elemental damage (especially against PI's) its hard to beat glimmershred. Kick wise there are a number of solid options, but really it depends on what you fight most frequently.

You miss the point about Crescent Moon. They key attribute for a kicker is the ctc Static Field. This takes a big chunk of life out of everything that is not LI, regardles of the number of players in the game. Unlike Crushing Blow which is not as effective at higher player settings. With 3fpa follow up kicks, it goes off very often.

For questing with a PvM kicker it is one of the best weapon choices until you can equip a Stormlash. I also like Lawbringer for the ctc Decrepify.

I was thinking stormlash all along - hence no reason for crescent since storm would have a faster attack speed overall. But in SP, you work with what's available right? As far as static tho, I find it limited since the things usually worth hitting with static will be handled by the crushing blow and the minions should be going down pretty smoothly with some DS.

Static is what makes CE just that more effective.

    thanks for the feedback guys!
so far i haven't foudn a stormlash in SP yet :P

i guess equipping kicker equipment will give me crappier traps but this could be solved through trapper GCs ?

i wouldn't worry about your trap damage so much, they do quite nicely with just 4k dmg in hell, along with some decent physical dmg and ce you will rape pretty much everything, for bosses or big groups in certain situations or some immunes it works wonders to have a lower resist wand on switch which can be shopped from the npc, kick damage is highly dependant on your boots, you want to aim for myrmadon grieves (spelling..) the upgraded version of gores for example. if you are going to use crescent moon don't worry about cb (cept for ubers)
