Just wanted to post an update to show people I'm still at it and still making progress (Though not the last 10 days which were reserved for the MFO...)
Meanwhile, I cleared all areas till the Lost City, and I think I won't be clearing all tombs this time. Far too many Poison immune monsters = exorbitant high time investment.

Well, I found and cleansed the Lost City and visited AT (no Tyrael's for me though

). I was greeted by one of my favourite boss mods - Immune to Physical...gotta love it when doing 40 damage yourself and your merc is doing only physical damage...after a few minutes I got my hard earned prize. And of course my favourite aura showed up, too...fortunately without Mages around.

Afterwards I dared to enter the Valley of Snakes. With a bit more MF I could have scored a nice unique immediately (although I couldn't have used it...) My favourite aura appeared again - this time on a Claw Viper boss :rolleyes:

Oh, and the base item I was looking for the whole MFO...

Anyways, level 2 of the Claw Viper Temple was dangerous as ever, but eventually I made it.
What almost got me killed (and my merc about 12 times) in the Palace was a room full of archers with this boss (turned out a second boss was there, too...with Might aura, too...)

Well, now I'm about to face the Summoner...and I'm still undecided on whether to clear all tombs or not...

I am very confused about this whole tourney and how it works. Im very young and it makes no sense but it looks kinda cool. Can someone explain it in 12 yr old language.

@dlav - you get skills you can use & equipment randomly at begining of game, and that's only thing you use.

Another glorious day for buraz. She bravely fought through Act II and III and is now facing Hell.
You remember I was about to face the Summoner? Well, I met him. A shame I can't use that nice drop. I stuck to my plan and went straight for Duriel, since those PI ghosts were horrible to fight - I needed around 15 minutes for one bosspack, so no way I was going to clear all those tombs. Plus, the Embambled are Poison Immune, and the only source of damage I have is Poison (and 1-750 lightning damage :rolleyes

.
Anyways I was talking about Duriel. I had to position my merc wisely and used the Woestave/Insight switch again (Woestave for slowing and OW, then more damage the next few hits with Insight). Result: Typical Duriel drop.

Act III had its moments (28 days later anyone? ADHS zombies?) and traps brought on by my own fault. Getting out safe from these situations was rewarded with a Crown of Thieves (usable!!

). The find came in pretty handy versus the Council - here I eventually finish off the last one.

In Durance 3 I had another 10 min-fight, but after that only Mephisto was left, who chew up my merc quickly (remember: no life leech in Hell...). After a timely resurrection I managed to position my merc behind the Valkyrie, and soon nothing stood between me and the Pandaemonium Fortress.

And another update. I knew Avt IV was going to be a blast when the first vendor item I looked at was this. Hey, I could have even used it!

Anyways, Izual was the usual, his drop unfortunately, too...Hephaisto for once wasn't Fana enchanted, so no problems there, either. He wasn't as stingy as Izual, but that Stormchase is of no use for me :( HF dropped a Lum, and guess what: I wanted to make a Smoke RW for facing Diablo, but when I opened the first Seal I remembered: "Oh, you forgot the Smoke RW..."

So I had to battle the Infector of Souls without Smoke, instead wearing a +30 life +48%MF Trellised Armour. And of course he had to be PI (this screeny was probably taken 3 minutes later - notice the health bar). Another screeny after he died eventually - I wanted to show you those lovely blood patters

Lord De Seis was Cold Enchanted and had a HF aura, so you can guess that one hit would have sent me into slooooooow moooooo oblivion.

I had some doubts on whether I would be able to defeat Diablo, since his Fire Attacks fried my companions in ~0.4 seconds, but I dared to. And he also refused to give up useful items.

Now I arrived in Harrogath, and things seem pretty ugly there. Luckily, the great buraz has arrived now to poke every monster to death. I wonder how long it'll take to roll non-PI, non Posion immune, non cursed, non Fana, non Might Ancients :rolleyes:

Act V is probably going to take longer, since I want to be more careful then last time (in the Bountyhunter Tournament, my Tesladin died in late Act V due to those Vipers by the Frozen River).

Well, I guess I did rush it...

Act V started well with this unique Yari drop

. Went on with another unique, and scored almost a Windforce. This could have been a Tal's Plate, but oh well - I guess I have to stick to the Hone Sundan (a perfect roll!) I found :grin: Another elite unique -ethereal
Wrong class skill...

What else to say? I got lucky with those passages - no Blood Lords, mostly Skeleton Mages (they make you sloooow), Frozen Terrors and Reanimated Hordes. Granted there were some scary bosses - and another - and a Frenzytaur Champion pack. Usually those packs killed my merc in under 2 seconds, but a level 27 Valkyrie is quite sturdy and I poisoned them to death while my merc waited for a resurrection...what helped were the Matriarchal Javelins I got from Anya:

Well, since my merc kept dying, I kept using desperate measures - like shooting Plague Javlins over a River and waiting for the monsters to be poisoned to death...takes quite some time, I tell you.

Especially PIs are troublesome since I'm the only one on my team who can do damage to them at all (4.2k Poison damage and 1-1k lightning damage :rolleyes
