Small update: Entered Pindle's garden - of course he was PI

Didn't check the WP - who knows what the future holds for buraz

Had a NDE because of a CE from Nihlatak (sorry, no screeny with ~15 life...only a screeny with almost full life bulb

), but Hone Sundan and Plague Javelin took him down eventually.

Only thing left to do is:
1. Socket an item
2. Personalise an item
3. Kill Baal...

...maybe tomorrow

I did it!

As I told you in my last updates, there was only level 2 and 3 of the WSK and the Throne Room left. So I started buraz's last journey, and it started with Claw Vipers and Poison Mages, which was actually a good thing, since it also could have been Souls... :rolleyes:

I had to exercise patience at level 3, since I encountered lots of Poison and Physical Immune Specters as well as some Specter bosses and more specter bosses. Since that would have been quite too easy and fast for me, there were also Physical Immune Hell Temptresses...but eventually I reached the last steps...

...only to be greeted by a PI Death Lord boss, but the Valkyrie easily withstood all attacks from that mob and Plague Javelin and my merc took care of them. I encountered Death Lords, Assailants and Dark Lords, which proved to be one of the best rolls I could get. No danger at all for me and my crew

Minion wave 1 was a cakewalk.

Minion wave 2 took around 15 minutes to kill...the poison killed my merc too fast, so I had to rely on my Valkyrie as a meat shield while I threw Plague Javelin after Plague Javelin at those Mummies till only the boss and the Skeletons were still standing. Then I revived my merc and used my Teleport amulet (a life saver throughout entire Hell!!!) to teleport right on top of him and dispose him as quickly as possible. Some Plague Javelins for the Skeletons and everything was fine.

Minion wave 3 killed my merc quite easy and fast, too. So again: Valkyrie meat shield and Plague Javelin

Minion wave 4 would have killed my merc easily, too, so I took them down one by one while the Valkyrie took hits from the remaining pack

Minion wave 5...well, you know how it is. I switched my merc's Insight for the Hone Sundan and split them up. My merc and Valkyrie could only handle two at once, but they did well in those cases. The Throne Room was cleard, but still there was something left to do: Getting rid of a PI Lister

After half an hour and -25% health I decided to leave him be, since I didn't want to waste another 2 hours on him...

Baal himself posed no problem as I used the old Woestave/Hone Sundan switch on my merc again to immobilise Baal and make use of the Crushing Blow. A little bit of poison damage added from me and Baal was history. No luck with the drop, but - eh! I decided to ditch my MF equipment some time ago for better survivability

And that's how buraz reached Destruction's End...

Wow great finish and awesome writeup. Your patience is way better than mine, but then again that's also probably why I have gotten a guardian. If all goes well I'll have a guardian too by the end of the day in the Green with Tournament.

I wouldn't mind rolling a Paladin, if someone wouldn't mind doing me the honors. College starts tomorrow, so I can't promise any progress, but I'd like to have a build in my pocket in case I want to start up.

If I'm correct in how I do this...

You should have an easy ride indeed, but be careful because of the lack of crowd control! Good luck on your journey!
