Pub dueling character statistics

Hey guys and gals!

I've been wondering for a while which character/subclass is the most popular in pub duel games. To find out I'm going to do some statistics. When I join a duel game I'm going to take note of what character classes are present in the game. First I also wanted to take note of what subclasses are present but I realized it is too much work so I will just duel in pubbies and add a comment to each class about the most popular builds.

To keep the statistics as correct as possible I will follow these rules:

- Upon join, I will immediately screenshot the party screen.

- I will only take note of the EXISTING characters and ignore joining characters.

- I will then go on to the next duel game and repeat the process.

When all duel games I can find are "scanned" I'll wait at least 3 hours before starting all over. I'd say >95% of the pub duelers have switched char or stopped their dueling session within 3h. I will also make sure I don't collect data at the same time everyday.

I'm gonna do this on LOD Europe Softcore Ladder. I will post my results when I've reached a good number of observations.

If you're playing on another realm it would be really cool if you did some data collection for comparition purposes.

Examples of games almost always open on Europe: Duel, Duels, Duelz, Duell, Duells, Duellz, Duel me now, Duel me noob, Duel me nap, pk, pk2....

i predict Paladin's will prove to be the "most popular" class with "Hammerdin" as most popular subclass.

next will possibly be Amazons of the *** town guarding/town hugging varietty.

at least, that's my impressions on West NL.

more smiters/vt than hammers ive encountered

i think sorc is more popular with blizz here on east for the tg build

i think this is an interesting/valuable effort, but i would also suggest poking your head around also. that is, run to the blood moor entrance, do a few tele's around, etc and actually SEE who's dueling. people frequently magic find pub games (esp hdins) which would throw your statistics off by only a quick screenshot
