So there I am, a grown man playing what most people consider a game for kids, and trying to explain to my gf (who doesn't care At All) about the advantages of armor & shields with sockets because they let me insert various gems or runes to enhance the properties of the piece, and she comes up with this:

"Is that a rune in your socket, or are you just happy to see me?"
