Does anyone know how to stop a PC rebooting automatically after downloading windows updates? I'm sick of coming down in the morning and finding it rebooted.

No, but about your security problem I was reading about earlier...
What I do is not have anything worth stealing. If someone breaks in, they're doing me a favor by removing some of my old junk. I like to invest in things that are too big for theives. They'd have a hell of a time getting my queen size bed out of here, and that's probably worth more than all my old CD's and junk.
About the updates...it seems that I am getting infinite updates that "are ready to download to your/my computer". I was thinking about this, and can this really go on forever? Won't there reach a point where my memory space is completely filled up with updates? I know I didn't buy a computer so I can download stuff every week. I know it's going to bug me every time I turn my computer on unless I give in and have them downloaded. Where is the "leave me alone, permantently" button? Am I a moron for worrying about this sort of thing? I'd appreciate any help from computer people.
I'm not sure if you can stop it from rebooting after installing the updates, the most you can do is probably delay it for a couple of hours, if you're there when it finishes installing.
But I think you can stop it from automatically downloading updates, which would stop the rebooting. Then you can download/reboot in your own time.

Increase your security settings in the control panal. I do all my brousing on hp lap top with windows vista and Trend Micro Internet Security. The security is so high I can't download updates even when I want to. The updates are usually new security features though.

i am fed up wiv griswold helmet and no one wants it, so i am just selling it about every 2 hours to npc (that is speed of getting one) i am more in to finding maras and sojs....
