I might give TL2 ago, I wasn't super impressed with TL it was fun for ~ 5 hours, but then it just seem repetitive / pointless.

If you didn't like TL then you will probably not like TL2 or wouldn't imagine you would. I started playing TL again out of boredom.

Unknown it is like going from d1 to d2 where in TL1 you just went deeper and deeper into a dungeon but TL2 has zones. It also adds multiplayer.

No TL was like D1 and that is probably why I didn't like it that much. D1 was great in its day and is great for nostalgic reasons, but I can't imagine someone wanting to play D1 with updated graphics. Still given peoples opinions on D3 and how it isn't D2 enough .....

Yes, that would be a bit annoying for sure. Love D1 but I wouldn't want a new game like it.

It is much better than d1 but I just used the example of on location. I enjoyed the game and the cartoony graphics. Also the mod community did a lot with that game but unfortunately has fallen by the wayside. If you preorder TL2 on steam you get TL for free so that is a good deal for those who don't have it. And a great way to kill the 2weeks we have till release.
