i'm involved in 2 shadowrun games atm. miss my traditional D&D a little but shadowrun is pretty cool. and i know kegs finds my updates enthralling.

yaaaay!

i play Pathfinder if we wanna get technical. still fun tho. i only got into about a year ago or so because a friend of ours (the DM) was wanting to get a group together here in Texas (he's not a native) and talked to us and some others... here we are!

the first char i had made was a dwarf barb and then we actually started our real campaign (like, the first few games were for fun and to test it out and how we played, get a feel for it) several months ago. and during that meeting, we thought a few other people were going to be joining us but two of them had their baby and the other person wasn't feeling it much anymore. because of the people who we thought were going to play chose fighting classes (Barb, Fighter, Rogue), i became an aberrant half elf sorc. while different (im more into kicking *** and not casting spells), i did get used to it and found it fun. i can still kinda fight, but my magic is where it's at.

tldr; (seriously that paragraph is massive).

All jokes aside, it does sound kind of interesting. I personally like the fighter-mage style (I like playing the fast lightly armoured high damage characters).

I've never done anything like that stuff, but I do find it interesting to read most of the time. I'm sure if I knew people around here that did it then I would enjoy it. But I'm sure my wife would think it was awful and that I was a nerd for doing it

pathfinder IMO is just a 3.75ed D&D. it's alot better and ironed out all the massive kinks in D&D you can exploit to power game.

Depending on the gm i'm either right into jumping on the murder train but i can pull a pretty mean espionage style game too. I'm more of a tank character type of guy. i may not kill that fast but i will still kill you before you kill me. and dwarves, i enjoy dwarves.

I have a lion shapeshifter drawn up for shadowrun who is pretty much capable of dodging EVERYTHING. oh and he can turn invisible and climb up the ceiling...yea thats right. invisible lion on the ceiling, oh yea he causes explosions with his melee attacks too.
