They only do the first two years of college. They are usually a lot less expensive too, like 1/4 the cost.
Junior college is the US are usually 2 year colleges where you can complete an associates degree. Some offer bachelors depending on the state but in NC they only offer an Associates of Science or Associates of Arts degree as well as a few diploma programs.
I play racquetball at our local community college (same thing as junior)
Oh I see, kind of like what we call Tafe.
The CC or Junior College sounds a lot like the place where i'm going to be studying math. Although it''s not a place where you can take the first years of college (as you call it), but it's a place you go if you want to/need to brush up on some of your old subjects.
Schools are rather different over here than there, so I imagine it doesn't exactly translate well.
I think we maybe have stuff like that here but I can't think of what it is called.
Oh I love racquetball, I could never find anyone to play it with me in school though :(
It's a whole lot of fun for sure, I really banged up my knee and shoulder last night though. I just take the racquetball class that they offer, so there are always people to play with.
