For helms, I think you should include circlets of wealth (even jewellers so it has 3 socs). They have the potential to get more than CoT, and are the helms that can get the most goldfind of all, so they should be mentioned.
And even though there are many armor options, I think you should at least mention the theoretically best ones, that is CoH and fort. Although, I think CoH easily outclasses fort (CoH has +200% damage vs demons, +20 strength and +2 skills which boost might, so since council members are demons, CoH will give 240% ed, which is only 60% less than fort. CoH also has leech on the armor spot, and is safer vs conviction, and it even has some mf%).
I also think botd and such should be mentioned. It does have high damage. I don't really like botd on mercs, but I know many people do.
Also, how good of an idea is it to have a huge damage weapon on switch and berzerk phys immunes to death? I really hate walking around collecting gold with a council memember running after you, not letting you collect your reqard in peace and quiet. Or maybe just spellsteel or gavel of pain on switch is better since the merc can kill the phys immunes itself then, as well as increasing damage by alot vs non-immunes
I found an Artisan's Coronet of Wealth, 2os/59% gold find. It's not jeweler's and it's a fairly low gf roll, but would this thing still be worth two Lems? Vs. IK Helm or Crown of Thieves, etc.
Nope, don't think it would. It would be better if the prefix was better (like jewellers or prismatic) it would be useful but now...
first of all, I would like to say that this guide rocked my socks. I love the idea of bouncing about and the piles of gold to spend! I'll certainly try this guy out!
Also I was wondering if this build was suitable to go baal mfing, and does leap stun and knock-back bosses like baal and such?

This is an excellent guide!! Took me a couple runs in hell with my merc dying to learn how to leap effectively and get all of those council buggers stunned.. but after that its smooth sailing!!
One thing i recommend at the very start is to just run into durance lvl 1 and then back into the council room. Your merc will spawn right next to you and you can immediately start leaping and stun everything...
Im gonna try sticking a fortitude on my merc and see how much faster things go ^_^
While I used an enigma to avoid the hassle of merc placement - I actually had more fun with my goldfinder than I did soloing hell on any of my other builds. Ultimately it proved to be more rewarding over time than regular mf.
great guide, gotta make me one![]()
^ and also the bent US realm economies that are soooo inflated it's untrue![]()
