no worries, but seriously, how do people find the runes to make stuff like enigma, infinity, coh, coa, etc?!? infinity alone is 2 bers! i played d2 lod on/off for 5-6 *years* and have never seen anything higher than ist drop (not including forge...seen gul from forge). i personally have only found maybe 4 ist's over hundreds or thousands of hours of play.
I've had a gul drop during forge, and another drop during a pindle/shenk run. As llama said, if you know how to dupe, all it takes is a mid rune drop to cube your way up to an HR, or cube a low rune into an HR if you've got time to waste. I highly doubt Blizzard can do much about this (aside from disabling cubing entirely, hosing all the legit players as well)... cubing duped runes into a new higher rune probably perms it in the system; if there is an unique id to be assigned it's probably assigned at that point.
What I'd like to know is how some shops are selling 40ed/15ias jewels two weeks into the new season. Maybe there's even a way to move a non-ladder item into the ladder realm.
I read through that guide on how to do a fast rush and I still have no idea how it's done - sounds way to confusing with all the mules moving from one game to the next.
How do people get these HRs you ask? First of all, remember that 2 X GUL = vex = 1 HR. I don't use any illegal programs, but I also am level 96 and have run 1000's of baal games and I have seen all these pickit people on baal - I am sure they get amazing items. Put it this way, I have killed baal now probably at least 3,000 times and I have not EVER gotten one single drop - they loot the items before they are actually clickable for me.. One person said from one of the games they had 25 shakos and 20 arachnid meshes, so I guess if you think an arach is 1 X ist, there you go - that person has 20 ists - which can equate to a ton of HRs.
I wouldn't worry about it - just level and play and do your own MFng and at some point the expensive items will drop down to a lower price and by that time you will probably have found a few items you can sell for around a few ists so, you will be able to buy what you want.
I just hope blizzard scans all these runs and removes all the people on the ladder who have botted - I might be close to the top then lol.
