So I was playing my summoner (why are they called fishymancers btw?) to run some pits. I had +summoning skills stuff for my normal use and ali baba + rhyme on the swap. I noticed that it would take between 1 to 2 minutes before the game realized I had swapped weapons and despawn some of my minions.
My question is does the game always have a delay when detecting the weapon swap? For example if I weaken mephisto then swap to MF gear do I have to wait 1 to 2 mintues before the swapped over MF is recognized by the game?
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks!
Hi! I have a Goldfinder necro, and for me it notices right away when i swap weapon. Much bigger piles of gold when i switch to my rhyme and 2x lem'd ali baba. About the fishymancer i dont know..^^ always wondered if i got one of thosemax skele, max mage, max revive, and then the others like amp, CE, golem- this makes fishy?
Thanks for the reply,
so you're pretty sure that the game acknowledges the swap right away? ok that's good, hopefully somebody else will tell us why they use the term fishymancer![]()
They're called Fishymancers because, to my knowledge, the person who really popularized the build is Nightfish.
Although I hate the name, because not only does it have nothing to do with the class, but nightfish isn't the skelemancer god either. He's never eve used them on the realms.
I'm glad to get that cleared up, because I had no clue why they had that name either.
As to the computer recognition, that's new to me. Always seemed to happen immediately.

Witch Doctor = top half of a Flayer Shaman = cracked-out, grass-wearing, jungle hobo = bobbing clown who vomits leaves a.k.a. Bobo the clowning village idiot. And people thought Necromancers had an image problem.
