Master Brewer in the OTF - Cheers!

    Yaboosh! I got it!
Bless you and your Girlfriend Both.
    6 Pack arrived intact.
    We have Beer Tasting results!

Well the PBS is first up - less time to cool.

Wow Dense and Hoppy! PB notes are almost lost in the hops, as am I ;-)

This is so good - a dark beer needs to be a meal and it is, a Chocolate Tinted and Hops-Full loaf of liquid Bread with a just hint of PB. Yummy!

Sitting here with the aftertaste lingering in my mouth, I just realized that beer really needs a fine cigar.

Any of you Girls roll them on your thighs as a hobby or profession by chance?

Edit : IPA - after the stout I expected a good hoppy IPA and I got it, But it has a crisp clean finish that is almost dare I say it commercial. I was expecting this to be my fav but it got beat out by...

Watermelon Kölsch - I'm in LOVE!
OK you would not take money for the sampler but I need a case on this and I have Paypal OK?
Can I get the recipe at least? : Licks Lips
Whaaaaaa! only one bottle of it in the sampler and wow!

The Altbier was like the IPA but spicier somehow? and the smoothness was that of a top-fermenting beer. Nice but at the bottom of the selection.

    Rank:
    W/K #1
IPA #2.2 (This is the one I could market most widely.)
PBS #2.3 (Almost a tie here I only got 1 PBS and I want to try another with a Cigar, IMHO this is the most expensive tasting one of the bunch, I was not expecting the high Hop content.)
Altbier #3.5 (Smooth but not my style)

Again Thank you for the Taste So much Yaboosh.

Unpacked and took a pic on the Pool Table. Nice Bottles I'm saving them - I got a 20 gallon boil pot - send me recipes :Licks Lips

I am pleased you liked them!

I am also a little iffy on my Alt, some others seem to like it more than I do. I thought it came out too malty, and a little bit roasty. It is fairly clean, and interestingly enough, very very little hops are in it. Something happened with the malt and yeast interacting that seems to simulate hop flavor.

The IPA is my favorite of the bunch, and I only have a couple of bottles left. The WK is almost gone as well, along with the Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout. I am going to try to brew a pale ale today, which should come out pretty nice.

A brewpub in San Francisco called the 21st Amendment is now distributing their Watermelon Wheat in cans throughout California, mainly at BevMo I believe, so you can keep an eye out for that. I am not sure I will be brewing another watermelon beer this summer, though it may happen.

    Glad you enjoyed it Bob!

    Cheers

    Watermelon beer?

I've never added fruits because I've been told fruits will mess with the yeast.

Eh, it is almost all fructose, which is a monosaccharide. Yeast love it. Easier for the yeast to eat than even maltose. But regardless, you should fruit when the yeast has already done its job anyway. The evolution of CO2 during fermentation can effectively scrub out much of the aromas of a fruit.

It tasted like it had chunk's of watermelon in it, a Viagra of beers.

Hey I just came back from Vegas and Santana but ate and sampled at Ellis Island Brewery
(short walk from the Pallazo which we stayed at) was Excellent, 40+ years old place.

Wife gets Comps at places sometimes if you want a room.

Did you have to abbreviate the names?
