Does the thorns damage from Iron Golem and the Thorns from edge/bramble stack or are they calclulated separately and what is the exact effect if an Iron Golem is summoned from an ethereal item, is it physical resistant or is it just translucent?
Thanks in advance
just to add another question :P
When an Iron Golem is already summoned, does extra points into Golem Mastery apply to the already summoned Iron Golem?, I know points in Skele and SM doesn't apply, and summoning new skeleton is the only way to gain benefit of the new point, but what if a really expensive Iron Golem is already made?
Two auras that come from items stack, all other auras don't.
Iron golems are re-summoned every tme you log in. So load up on +skill gear every time you log out. After that, you can throw away al your gear and still have a strong golem for the rest of the game
Witch Doctor = top half of a Flayer Shaman = cracked-out, grass-wearing, jungle hobo = bobbing clown who vomits leaves a.k.a. Bobo the clowning village idiot. And people thought Necromancers had an image problem.
it doesnt matter in this case then, since it's resummoned everytime, awesome, thx
jst means everytime u increase GM, u gotta rejoin game to have it taking effect :/
There is no bonus for the Iron Golem for being translucent? no physical damage reducing?
An ethereal armour has a 50% bonus in defence compared to a normal armour - an ethereal golem keeps that 50% defence bonus.
However I don't know whether the ethereal bonus would also transfer from the armour and add to the inherent defence of the IG - IOW, does the normal IG defence receive a 50% uplift because he is ethereal? I would guess not.
Really, iron golem only gets the properties on his items, that's it. If the item has 30% fire resistance, he will get 30% fire resistance. If the item has 1000 defence, he will get 1000 defence. Ethereal grants a 50% bonus to defence to a piece of equipment. So the equipment will be stronger, but the iron golem is still calculted in the same way.
IG gets a defence bonus per skill level, which would add to the defence bonus of the armour you make him from (plus any innate defence he starts with, if any).
It would be cool if the bonus per skill level (plus innate defence) was increased by 50% if he is made from ethereal armour, but as I say, I seriously doubt this is the case.
